Playerless Audio
EZ-Audio simplifies the process of playing audio files over the Web. Many times there are audio samples that could enhance a website. Unfortunately, to hear the audio clip, a “player” is required and many Internet users have no idea how to install a player! This becomes even more of a frustration when they do finally install a player but then the clips do not even support their player.
With EZ-Audio, however, you can provide the visitors to your website with the pushbutton convenience of “playerless” audio. In reality, EZ-Audio eliminates the need to install a player in order to hear the audio clip because our technology uses the browser software as the player. This means that visitors to your website can click a button and hear the audio clip.
Audio Upload
Audio clips using EZ-Audio require a specific compression utility which we provide access to. The audio is converted from an .mp3, .wav, or .cda file into a Clipstream™ compressed file. Upload the file with EZ-FileManager. No special coding required!
Player Options
There are three options to play your audio.

- The audio clip can be set to start automatically as soon as the webpage has been loaded.
- You can implement one of several EZ-Audio™ player graphics which will require one to press the “play” button. You can even set the “play” button blink!
- The final option is to loop your audio. This way, the audio would play as long as that person was viewing the webpage or until they click the “stop” button.

The audio player is added directly to webpages with the EZ-Pagebuilder toolset. This provides you with all the design flexibility you will need to make audio clips a convenient addition to your website.
Note: Clipstream™ is a product of Destiny Technologies™. A nominal set-up and monthly fee will be required for each clip in addition to the standard monthly service fees.
